At least two artists are known as Double: 1) The Swiss duo of Felix Haug (drums and keyboards) and Kurt Maloo (guitar and vocals), formerly part of a trio called Ping Pong, scored an international hit in 1986 with the atmospheric ballad “The Captain of Her Heart” (#16 US pop, #4 US AC, #8 UK, #17 Canada) from their debut album Blue. It would be their only substantial hit, with “Devils Ball,” the lead single from 1987 follow-up album Dou3le, stalling at #71 in the UK and failing to chart in the US.
